The Village Board of Trustees
The Village Board is the local legislative body consisting of the Mayor and four Trustees.  Board members are elected in the November general elections and serve a term of four years. 

The Village Board selects a Village Manager with responsibility for directing Village operations, including those of the Fairport Municipal Commission, and for serving as budget director, zoning officer, and public safety officer. 

The Mayor and Trustees meet twice a month on the second Monday of the month for their Board Meeting and the fouth Tuesday of the month for their Work Session meeting.  Exceptions are during the annual budget process during March when additional meetings may be scheduled. 

Meetings

Monthly Board Meeting - 2nd Monday of the month. 
Work Session Meeting - 4th Tuesday of the month. 
Both meetings are held in the Board Room on the 2nd floor of Village Hall.
Meeting Information and Etiquette

Village Court
The Village Court was dissolved in 2022. Court matters are not handled through the Town of Perinton Court. 

Boards and Commissions
Village citizens can serve on a number of boards that make decisions affecting our community.  Board members and alternates are appointed by the Mayor with approval of the Trustees.
